Mechanism of Action/Target pathogen: Bacterial protein inhibitor; Extended spectrum oxazolidinone with activity against biofilm formation whether these are planktonic S.aureus or slime producing sessile bacteria (1). It is also bacteriocidal against anaerobes (2).
